Do you have backup equipment?
Yes! We have backup equipment for everything. Nothing is left to chance.
What type of music do you play?
This is entirely up to you. Remember it’s your night! You can be as vague or as specific as you like with your play list, we will take care of the rest. We stock a library of over 90,000 songs so we can easily cater for almost any request.
For how long do you perform?
We will perform until you’re ready to go home.
What will you wear?
From a tuxedo to a Smurf costume, the choice is yours.
Will you be the DJ at our event? Can we meet you before hand?
Yes, DJ Maddox will be the DJ at your event. We are not an agency. We strongly encourage that you meet us before the event!
Do you perform alongside bands?
Yes we have worked with many bands. Our favourite being Symphony Sid and The Swing Kings.
What are your power requirements?
We require 3 mains power sockets on the wall within 25 meters of our setup. Our equipment will draw up to 7KW at full power. We make all our cabling trip-safe.
Do you perform a site survey of the venue prior to the booking date.
Yes. If we have not performed at a particular venue before, we do a site survey before the night.
How long do you take to set up?
We can be up and running in approximately 3 hours. Pack up time is usually 60 minutes.
Do you have a smoke machine? Are you going to blast us with smoke?
Yes we have a smoke machine. We will not blast you with smoke unless you specifically request it.
Do you have radio / wireless microphones?
Yes. For announcements and speeches we have 2 wireless microphones and 2 wired microphones. This is automatically included whenever you book us. We can also provide stand-alone systems upon request.
