Weddings are the happiest day of your life. You’ve spent months, years, or maybe your life planning. Now, all of a sudden it’s here and you have everything crossed that things go to plan. And more importantly the weather doesn’t throw a spanner into the works.
And Richard and Teleri’s wedding was no different. The venue was in Cardigan at The Cliff Hotel, and we were on hand to welcome the happy couple into married life and deliver a celebration to rival all wedding parties.
Say “I Do”
There’s something magical about witnessing a couple in love say “I Do” to each other and join their love in a happy union. And from here, Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now, as they embark on the next part of their lives.
Richard and Teleri not only brought love to their wedding reception, but they also brought the venue to life. It was less “partying like it’s 1999” and more like “ from this moment on…” we’re going to have the best time. They had the time of their lives, even if we say so ourselves.

Night to Remember
There was no stopping Richard and Teleri and their guests as they brought the party to The Cliff Hotel. The drinks were flowing, hats aplenty that looked more like they belonged in a Western or Texas than the Welsh coast, being passed from head to head, but that didn’t matter. It was vibes, not ownership.
It didn’t take long before the dance floor was awash with colourful dresses, perfectly fitted fascinators, and more importantly, people throwing shapes, even if they were questionable or not seen since the 70’s.
From getting behind the decks to help the DJ out to cheering for an encore and playing air guitar with guests’ legs, it really was a night to remember for this bride, groom and their respective families and friends.
We saw it all, drinks being balanced in hand as people posed, cheers for some outstanding dance moves, hugs for everyone, and some questionable spelling of the word “wow with fingers (smashed it ladies, really you did!)
That’s the thing with weddings, there’s no one right or wrong way to get your groove on, I Wanna Dance With Somebody was definitely the order of the day once Richard and Teleri got the formalities out of the way.
But it wasn’t just the adults that enjoyed the day, the kids got involved too, and we had dancers of all ages partying till the small hours and posing up a storm for our photography efforts.
